The dating life of Americans and Brazilians are completely different. American couples have a distinguish way to kiss, cause they use mostly the lips, and sometimes only this, just by touching each other's lips. On the opposite, beside the lips, the Brazilians couples use mainly the tongue, arms and hands. Also, during a kiss, Brazilians really hug each other and usually the man keeps touching the girl’s arms, hair, neck, and back, always pulling her to stay as closer as possible to him. Moreover, Americans give a great meaning to a kiss. For them, it is something intimate and that requires privacy. On the contrary, Brazilians do not associate kiss with intimacy. It is considered something normal and that can happen with anyone anywhere. Nevertheless, Brazilians give a great value to sexual intercourse; It is something really intimate that is done only with someone special, while in the USA usually happens between two total strangers. Another point is that in America, couples usually do not demonstrate affection in public spaces. However, in Brazil, couples walk on the streets with holding hands, hugging each other, and kissing each other. In fact, demonstrating affection is something expected of the Brazilian couples. Above all, in America, couples eventually get to live together before marriage. While In Brazil, couples just live together after marriage. Brazilians stay in the parents' house until they get married, or when they start to work, which means after college. These facts make the dating life of Americans and Brazilians different from each other.
